The Centre’s purpose is to provide tailored and specific, high quality, innovative services, activities and resources that support and make a difference to those affected by adoption and permanency: adopted or fostered children and families and professionals who work with adoption and permanence. The Centre operates from a purpose built facility alongside CCS’s office in Bristol.

Adoption UK is a national charity run by and for adopters, providing self-help information, advice, support and training on all aspects of adoption and adoptive parenting. They work with parents and practitioners to make adoptions succeed, promoting loving and supportive family relationships within adoptive families. CCS Adoption is a member of Adoption UK.

CVAA is the Consortium of Voluntary Adoption Agencies with member agencies providing specialist adoption services to children and families across England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man. Each Adoption Agency operates independently but all are committed to providing high quality and comprehensive adoption and adoption support services. CCS Adoption is a member of CVAA.
The South West Adoption Consortium was set up in July 2000 to establish a local but centrally-coordinated service to match children with adopters with as little delay as possible. The Consortium consists of 15 local authorities and 4 voluntary adoption agencies throughout the south west of England and is administered by CCS Adoption.
